Take Love's 2025 Collection was created to reintroduce the Take Love movement through a limited-run merchandise range that refreshed the brand’s visual identity while sparking curiosity-driven conversations about faith.
BRIEF
After a five-year break, Anglicare Sydney’s Take Love youth movement relaunched its merchandise to reconnect with teens and young adults. The project focused on creating a small, timeless collection of unisex apparel and accessories that felt modern and culturally relevant while subtly expressing Christian values. It also aimed to refine the brand’s visual identity—updating colours, iconography, and supporting assets to work across future merchandise collections.
Approach
The design approach focused on minimal, metaphor-driven concepts that prioritised longevity and high wearability. Drawing inspiration from streetwear minimalism and contemporary Christian creative culture, the collection balanced boldness with restraint—using abstract symbolism, thoughtful typography, and a refined colour palette to invite questions rather than provide explicit answers. Each piece was designed with unisex silhouettes in mind, while refreshed brand elements were developed to create a cohesive visual system adaptable to both print and digital contexts.

We are so stoked with everything Lynette has been able to produce for us at Take Love! The brand refresh is just what we needed to better reflect and appeal to young people these days, and the merchandise she was able to design for us has been a huge hit!
Outcome
The final outcome was a cohesive set of merchandise concepts that successfully reintroduced Take Love in a way that felt modern, authentic, and conversation-starting. By pairing subtle faith-informed messaging with a refreshed visual identity, the collection laid the groundwork for future drops while reinforcing Take Love’s mission to empower young people to live out love in everyday life.
